Blaney’s is a family florist shop that started just after WWII . In 1947, Earl opened a barber shop. His wife Megan started a Beauty Salon a little later, with her two daughters joining her in the 1960’s.
The flower shop was started by Paul Blaney followed 6 months later by Greg - and has grown from there employing virtually every member of the family at various times through the years. Paul has a degree in horticulture and landscaping, and is also a Master Florist. Gregory went to the Toronto Floral school of design in 1976, and works at a Master level.
In the 1870's the building was a road house and the current beauty salon was the neighbourhood saloon! A lot has changed over the years, but one thing remains, the old wooden walls, floors, and quality service.
When you visit Blaney's, Paul, Greg, and Marilyn will be happy to answer your questions or take your order.
